The Fonseca Du Nord is the 2025 Canadian Regional Edition for Fonseca, presented in the Genios vitola (52 × 140 mm Robusto Extra)—a format never before used by the marque for a regular production release.
Handmade using long-filler Cuban tobacco, the cigar is packaged in numbered cardboard packs of 10, with a strictly limited production of 6,000 packs worldwide. Scheduled for release in early 2026, it also marks a historic first for Habanos as the first Edición Regional presented exclusively in plain packaging.
Originally packaged, the standard and Regional Edition bands are concealed beneath a green plain-packaging band and accompanied by a green Habanos D.O.P. foot band.
