The Montecristo tubos, a long cigar which I thought may take two hours to enjoy but lasted 1hr 30mins. I was surprised the cigar seemed to burn quite quickly at first but then slowed from the middle to the end. The cigar had a nice free-flowing draw from cold and throughout, it had a bitter taste through the first 2/3 but a nice aroma. Unfortunately the cigar was blown off my table in our garden by a gust of wind on an otherwise beautiful day 26°, it needed re-lighting as the fall to the floor seem to knock the ash off and take the fire with it. It needed to be re-lit again before the final third which annoyed me as I would prefer to like the cigar once at the beginning. During the smoke it seemed to be going out which dulled my enjoyment as I felt I needed to take more regular puffs than I would otherwise have wanted to. I have a natural period of time I like between draws and this issue made me rush it so I didn’t have to relight it – I won’t be having this cigar again it’s not worth the price paid I suppose I can’t enjoy every cigar I buy.
